The process:
Step #1. The selling bank submits a general overview or tape containing key data including: Asset Class, Unpaid Balance, Lien Position, Geographical Concentration, LTV, etc.)
Step #2. Our Loan Acquisitions Group reviews the loan pool data and responds with an Indicative Bid or indication of interest. This process generally takes 2-3 days. The parties enter into a confidentiality agreement and a loan-level data tape or file is requested at this time.
Step #3. Following a loan-level review a Final Bid is offered to the seller.
Step #4. Closing. If the bid is accepted, a Loan Sale Agreement is executed and the sale is promptly closed.
